CampNaNoWriMo July 2016

Although I doubt many of my followers are unfamiliar with the writing event known as CampNaNo, I’ll still explain it just in case someone is scratching their head.

CampNaNoWriMo is basically a different version of National November Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo) with private cabins for participants to join and the ability to set custom word count goals instead of writing the default 50k word count of NaNoWriMo. It takes place twice a year in the months of April and July whereas NaNoWriMo takes place once a year in the month of November.

At first, I thought I wasn’t going to be able to do CampNaNo this month. Now it’s Day 4 and I updated my word count for my Fantasy novel, Moonlit Road. My word count goal is 2k and my daily word count goal is 65 words. I’ve written 502 words so far.

Anyone else doing CampNaNo this month? Are you ahead of your daily word count goal or falling behind? Tell me in the form of a comment below. 🙂
