ZamaieWrites Turns 1 Year Old!

June 3, 2017

To start this post off, I’d like to take a moment to thank my current followers for sticking with me and my blog over the past year. Blogging has mostly been a hobby for me due to life and other things, so I really appreciate the amount of support that I’ve received from other people in the WordPress community.

Anyways, it’s about time to get this party started! I have a ton of news to share today. Are you guys excited? I know I am!

Summer Break

On May 6th, I flew back to Georgia after completing my first semester of college. I’ve been at home on summer break since then, so I’ve had more free time than usual for my multiple hobbies. However, I’m also hunting for my first summer job at the same time.

Aya’s Curse

Back in March, I began talking to a friend of mine about Traitor of Draven, an unfinished fantasy novel that had been collecting dust in my Google Drive for a while. Over the course of two months, the story changed dramatically as my friend and I worked together on it. The book title was also changed to reflect the new plot.

In the near future, I’ll be posting more updates once I begin writing the first rough draft. I’m aiming to write it during CampNaNo in July. Fortunately, I don’t plan on abandoning this story like I’ve done in the past with my other works for various reasons. Until then, the short synopsis can be found here for anyone who might be interested in reading the story. All feedback is appreciated!

Blogging Schedule + A New Makeover

Starting today, new content will be published every week on Saturdays and Sundays. I hope to continue blogging for the rest of this year with this new schedule in place. Don’t forget to mark your calendars! If I miss a week’s worth of content, I’ll post two or more blogs to make up for it.

Along with the new schedule, I’ll also be changing my blog’s layout to make it more organized and aesthetically pleasing over the next couple of days.

That’s all for today’s post. See you guys next time!
